Communications

Dealing with Verizon Wireless International turned out to be a real pleasant surprise. Amy isn their Int'l department was very helpful when it came to explaining how to set my phone to receive calls in each country. She even went as far as explaining how to tweak the settings to receive the lowest roaming charge. (stay in GSM mode whenever possible)
So it looks like I will be able to update this blog at almost any point along the trip from from my Blackberry. Here's the challenge.. how to not be so connected to work that it is almost as if I hadn't gotten away. Stay tuned.

One more day and you'll be on your way. Patrice, suck it up and enjoy Ted's strong shoulders as he carries your pack. We look forward to following you in your journies and will be checking during the week to see what all you two are doing.

Adios
