Bags Are Packed and Here's Our Itinerary

This is technically the first day of our 28 day trip. We'll be back on January 31st.
A lot of friends are amazed that we can go on a trip of this length and not check any baggage.  Here is all the bags we are taking... It amounts to one carry-on suitcase and one "personal bag".  The carry-on goes under our seat and the suitcase goes in the overhead. We packed stuff that is designed to be washed. And we'll get some cleaning done several times on our trip.

Our trip will take us to Buenos Aires for a week.

Then, up to the Brazilian border to see Iquazu Falls, back south to Montevideo for a week in Uruguay, then up to Peru to see Lima, Cusco, the Inca Sacred Valley and finally Machu Picchu. The red dots on the map show all our destinations.                                                                                           Stay tuned for tomorrow's post.  It will probably be late in the afternoon because today we'll be flying all night from Miami to Buenos Aires.

Where is the red dot for Buenos Aires? I know where it is though. Also had to go to my globe to see how far it is from Miami to there and compare to a flight from Raleigh to Zurich.
